Bobby Darin the American singer, songwriter, recording artist, multi-instrumentalist musician, and actor sold millions of records performing jazz, pop, rock and roll, folk, swing, and country music. His first million-selling single was "Splish Splash", in 1958, followed by "Dream Lover", "Mack the Knife", and "Beyond the Sea", which brought him worldwide fame.

Darin's career started with a songwriting partnership, with legendary music publisher and producer Don Kirshner. In 1956, his agent negotiated a contract with Decca Records, and he later worked as a songwriter for Connie Francis.  That’s when things really began for Darin’s musical career.
