Elvis Costello’s music career spans more than 50 years. Since starting his first band in 1971, he has met with great success with hit songs like “Alison”, “Watching the Detectives”, “Pump it Up”, “Accidents Will Happen”, and “Every Day I Write the Book”. Along with a number of studio albums and collaborative albums, Costello has garnered many awards throughout his career, including two Grammy Awards in 1999 and 2020, and has twice been nominated for the Brit Award for Best British Male Artist.

Costello has worked with has worked with Paul McCartney, Madness, Tony Bennett, Burt Bacharach, Allen Toussaint, Johnny Cash, Kid Rock, Brian Eno, Rubén Blades, and so many more.

He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003; and Rolling Stone ranked Costello number 80 on its list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time in 2004.
