Mario Lalli is a touring musician, event producer and music promoter based in the Coachella Valley’s So Cal desert town of Desert Hot Springs.

Active in the music scene since 1981, Lalli is considered to be a pioneering figure in the desert rock scene and often cited as "The Godfather of Desert Rock".

Lalli's bands, Across The River, Yawning Man, The Sort of Quartet and Fatso Jetson were instrumental in shaping the desert rock sound. Lalli has collaborated with such artists as Kyuss, Brant Bjork, Sean Wheeler, Queens of the Stone Age, Mark Lanegan, Greg Dulli, Chris Goss and many others. His music career is spanning over 40years.
